About the role The Visual Design team stands out for its lively creativity and flawless style. It translates users’ needs, business objectives and technology capabilities from concept to delivery with exceptional attention to detail. It aims to craft an alluring design language that skillfully incorporates the brand of Avanade’s clients. As Intern, Visual Design, you could assist with client engagements and produce creative User Experience (UX)/transformation deliverables on projects. You could focus on design and creative task areas. You could support research from a visual design perspective to gain insights that guide design decisions. You will assist with visual design explorations to generate ideas, find the best solutions and craft a compelling visual language. Academic requirements: College Junior-standing, with target graduation date between December 2019 and June 2020 Creative mind and collaborative spirit Demonstrated exceptional performance in these or related majors at the Bachelor’s degree level: Human Computer Interaction Visual Design User Experience Design Graphic/Web/Mobile Design Industrial Design Library Sciences About you Experience with visual design, principles of UI design, layouts, graphics development, typography, color and visual theories preferred Knowledge of user experience disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability and content strategies preferred Functional Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite needed; knowledge of W3C HTML / XHTML, CSS a plus Some experience designing with mobile in mind
