Your writing supports the customer journey including first run experiences, UX, content creation, and teaching moments. You care about details, but you think strategically and can always map what you’re delivering to the big picture. You understand the power of words and how to bring them to life through designing experiences, creating stories, and setting the tone for the product. Responsibilities Operate as part of a cross-functional team including design, research, engineering, marketing, and project managers to participate in design sprints, test ideas, and ensure language quality. Continually improve upon and evolve content strategies and optimize for cohesion across products and experiences. Write and edit friendly, brilliantly clear UI text & conversational dialogue Use multiple sources of customer data to inform content strategy as well as day-to-day optimizations. Understand and evangelize our brand voice and tone. Qualifications 3-5+ year track record of delivering creative experiences on tight deadlines 3-5+ experience writing for instructional, conversational, and entertainment purposes (playwriting/screenwriting, joke writing, narrative design, exhibition/museum design, creative/fiction writing, etc.) Experience working in product design, copywriting, technical writing, brand design, or brand marketing. Portfolio review of writing and content samples. BA/BS degree in Arts, Digital Communications, Creative Writing, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, Theatre or related field OR equivalent experience.
