Responsibilities With training in areas related to Design or Technology or with proven experience in curriculum and portfolio. People on this level help the team in product design tasks, considering the end-to-end process, from immersion and understanding to validation, passing through conceptualization and prototyping. • Helping other designers, POs / PMs, commercial team and technical team in the comprehension phase and on the requirement analysis for new products, features or projects. • Collaborating with the team in the conceptualization phase. • Helping the team to communicate and validate ideas during an iterative product development process. • Prototyping solutions at different levels of fidelity (mockups, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes), considering the level of detail needed to communicate and validate ideas in different contexts. • Helping to maintain a high-quality look and feel for the company's products. • Participating in the Quality Assurance process, helping other designers, developers, and POs to ensure that our products are being shipped with quality. • Participating in the ceremonies of the Design Chapter, collaborating with the adoption and continuous evolution of the standard methodologies of the subject area inside our company, and being an active participant of the design critique sessions. Requirements • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of fundamental visual design principles. • Basic knowledge of and some experience with interface design and prototyping tools. • Basic knowledge of different design processes: • Capable of describing the main steps of a basic design process (immersion, analysis, ideation, prototyping, and testing). • Formal knowledge of some basic methods related to each step of the process. • Intermediate knowledge and some experience with interface and interaction design: • Capable of designing interactions without serious flaws and that dialogue with the context in which they are inserted. • Capable of designing interactions respecting best practices and heuristics. • Capable of making good use of existing patterns and design system. • College degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Communication, Advertising, Psychology, Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or related areas. In the absence of a college degree, should prove experience with curriculum, portfolio, and case presentations. • Some prior contact with basic literature on UX, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interface Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture and related areas is desirable. • It is desirable to have attended or to be taking some specialization (academic or not) in UX, Strategic Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Ergonomics, or similar areas. • English (capable of reading and writing)Soft Skills • Communication; • Teamwork skills; • Relationship skills; • Autonomy.
